Prema Auset is a licensed massage therapist with 13 years experience. Prema became interested in massage while watching someone receive a massage on the tennis courts by another player. The person giving the massage appeared experienced and knowledgeable as he rotated and stretched limbs, neck, toes and even massaged the eyeballs! After seeing Prema watching in amazement, he offered to massage Prema next. After the massage, her entire body felt energized in a way she had never experienced! Having the eyeballs massaged and the feet and toes rotated felt out of this world. The friend revealed that he went to people's homes to massage them and charged $75-$100. What a cool way to earn a living helping people feel good! Anything is better than sitting in some boring cubicle or office! Prema began massaging friends and family and soon was in demand for her services. At this time, being a person who cared about the well-being of others, she realized her gift and knew massage therapy was her destiny.
Prema earned her massage therapist certifications while attending the Massage School of Santa Monica and Shiatsu Massage School of Santa Monica/Tao Institute. With most of her work experience including chiropractic offices and spa environments, Prema prefers to offer her services in the community in a more relaxed environment where she can work at her own pace and interact with people in a more relaxed manner in a cultural setting.
